The Master Scuba Dive Trainer Program is the Third level of Instructor rating (Specialty Instructor is the second level) you can receive from PADI. In order to complete this program you must be an Open Water Scuba Instructor with 5 diving specialties, all of our interns complete the IDC with at least those minimums.

In addition you must master your teaching skills while certifying no less than 25 divers. Upon completion you will receive the coveted MSDT rating. At Neptune's this program is offered as a paid internship, except for one or two graduates of each of our Instructor Development Courses, who are invited, free of charge to complete the course.

The program is 2 months long or 25 certifications. Expectations from the MSDT candidate are extremely high as they will be responsible for assistance, mentoring, evaluation and training of the Dive Master and Instructor Internship Students.

For those candidates who are not Neptune's Internship students the course will include the 5 Specialties required to commence the course.
